Bearclaw Sitka Spruce is a variation of Sitka Spruce that exhibits rippling of the longitudinal fibers. The resultant eye-catching figuaration looks like a bear "clawed" at the board. Acoustically, it shares the same desirable characteristics as the traditional Sitka Spruce.
