Indian Rosewood and Sitka Spruce Dreadnought

A traditionally shaped dreadnought using Master Quality Sitka Spruce soundboard. Indian Rosewood back and sides with a 1 piece dovetailed Spanish Cedar, C shaped, neck with a nut width of 43mm and Ebony fingerboard with Mother of Pearl inlay. A scale length of 664mm (25.34”) and 21 frets. The head of the neck is designed to be stronger than a standard neck and to transmit more of the energy of the strings to the bridge. The Ebony bridge is a traditional shape. Abalone and Mother of Pearl inlaid rosette with black and white bindings and black and white purfling. Only unbleached Bone nuts for quality. The fingerboard radius is 16” and has Mother of Pearl inlay. The soundboard has tuned quarter sawn sitka spruce x-brace struts in sympathy with A at 440Hz. Martin machine heads. Spanish cedar kerfing. Bowed back and front with a 40ft front radius and a 15ft back radius.

A beautiful guitar with a lovely sound very good for blues and rock. This is the first of my Dreadnoughts and has been superceeded by updated designs for the neck and headstock.
